Jewish/Muslim Dialogue:
In a time of fear, terrorism, and separation, Jews and Muslims committed to knowing each other through the process of dialogue and mutual respect will come together to explore their common ground. Each participant will go through an interview process to ensure commitment to the principles of dialogue, which include the use of respectful language, compassionate listening, and honoring each other's experiences. The content of the dialogue will in part be determined by the participants. The dialogue will consist of eight sessions, and will be repeated throughout the year. The dialogue is limited to 10 Jews and 10 Muslims per session. We welcome the public to enter this pathway of understanding. Please RSVP to 343-8227. (With Rabbi Lynn and Abdul Raul Campos Marquetti.) AUG. 8, 15, 22 & 29; continued in September.
