ZOOM: BAR MITZVAH of ELIYAHU at Minyan HaLev with Rabbi Deborah Brin and Noach Bloom

This month, we welcome Eliyahu and his family as we celebrate Eliyahu becoming a Bar Mitzvah. Eliyahu will lead the prayers, read from the Torah, and discuss what he feels are some of the important meanings of his Bar Mitzvah portion in a joyful service and Shabbat celebration. Eliyahu and his family invite to you bring horns to blow or drums to bang - although hands to clap are great musical instruments themselves.

For this service, you MUST REGISTER by 4:00 pm Friday, May 14 by sending an email to office@nahalatshalom.org with your first and last name and the email you will use to receive the link and special siddur for Eliyahu's bar mitzvah

Our recurring Minyan HaLev Service is a fun adventure and an experiment. For centuries, prior to the advent of the printing press, Jews prayed without any prayer books and that is what we will be doing. We have designed the service so that you can simply experience it and participate in it without reference to any prayer books. You may also download/ print PDF of Shabbat Morning Siddur
