Conversation: Israel - Palestine

Reflections and compassionate dialogue with Rabbi Lynn. (In order to create a space for dialogue, this event is a closed event restricted to Nahalat Shalom members only.)

Rabbi Lynn began working on the issue of Palestinian human rights in 1966 and has remained active on this issue for over 45 years. She recently returned from The Sumud Winter Tour which she co-lead at the invitation of Sami Awad of Holy Land Trust. She returns home with many questions: In light of the age of Trump, what does it mean to embrace human rights as a framework for enacting Jewish values? How do we create solidarity tactics that are accountable to those most directly impacted by systemic violence? How do we have difficult conversations for the sake of healing? This is an in house conversation open to members of Nahalat Shalom. Rabbi Lynn will share some slides from her many trips that highlight her reflections.
