The Congregation Nahalat Shalom End of Life/Cemetery Committee met with several members last week to explore questions about what Congregation members are entitled to for themselves and their families from our community. Nahalat Shalom now has a relationship with La Puerta Natural Burial Ground that includes a Nahalat Shalom dedicated area. We also have relationships with local funeral homes and the Albuquerque Chevre Kadisha. The Committee will have several more small meetings to answer and hear new questions about these important end of life issues. Our next meeting will be Wednesday, May 22 at 2:30 at the Shul.
