Havdalah, Potluck Vegetarian Dinner, Jewish / Sufi Dances of Forgiveness and a Selichot Service

All ages are welcome to a very special evening of body movement and prayer. At 6:30 PM, Rabbi Min Kantrowitz will lead Havdalah which will include ritual with prayerful song and music led by Cantor Beth Cohen and Alavados Holy-days Band and dance led by Rikud dancers. After Havdalah, all are invited in to The Gallery for HaMotzee and vegetarian potluck dinner. The Selichot service begins at 8PM with dance, music, guided meditations, as well as ancient and contemporary prayers and writings in Hebrew, Ladino, Spanish and English. Everyone is invited to attend all or any part of the evening. Wear clothes comfortable for body movement (wear white if it is your custom), and bring your 'shofars' to sound at the end of the service.
