Sundays, June 7, 28 / July 5, 19 / August 9, 16 / So many Jewish summer programs for children have been cancelled due to Covid-19 and the continued need to isolate. Congregation Nahalat Shalom's Simcha (Happy) Summer Camp will be held virtually, on Zoom, twice a month during the summer. The camp is for pre-K to 7th grade, and offers games, songs, activities and Jewish learning. We will include Hebrew in all our programs in entertaining, creative ways to help children retain their skills over the summer. We will incorporate stories, puppets, movement practices and nature activities to make best use of our children's screen time. There is no charge for families who attend Nahalat Shalom's Cheder or Gan religious school programs. And of course, grandparentsand other family members are welcome. It's a great opportunity to keep kids connected to their Jewish friends, family and heritage through the summer. If your family is interested, please contact: office@nahalatshalom.org or Batya Podos at 971-285-5127.
