.Friends, please join me for an abbreviated version of Nahalat Shalom's Traditional Selichot Service: The Dance of Forgiveness. We will begin at 10pm, and when you are admitted from the Zoom Waiting Room please join us in the nigun "Rachamana D'aney" "Compassionate one who forgives the broken-hearted." Please feel free to bring and play your musical instruments, dance, pray with your hands, your body and neshama... We will sing the familiar melodies, prayers and chants that we have traditionally used for this service. There will times during the service when we will unmute and share our personal prayers, stories, words, melodies and dances of forgiveness and healing. There will also be times for quiet, focus and meditation. FYI- my HHD Dropbox is being updated and the link I sent will have the abbreviated service and melodies before Friday!! I'm looking forward to seeing you and sharing our prayers as we prepare for our High holidays through, teshuvah, tefilah and tzedaka.
