Let us welcome the arrival of the Sabbath Bride by chanting sacred phrases together, as we let go of the week that was and, in the silence after the chant, receive the blessings of Shabbat.

In this week’s parsha, Joseph reveals the truth to his brothers who had sold him into slavery.  He forgives them, and shares his views on the unintended consequences of their evil plan, which turned out to save humanity.  Embracing the paradox, Joseph’s family is reunited as his true self is revealed.
