Nahalat Shalom’s 18th FUNky Hanukkah Fiesta returns on Sunday, December 11th 1-3:00PM

It’s the long-awaited return of the “FUNky” after a 2 year hiatus since the beginning of the pandemic!! The “FUNky” is one of Nahalat Shalom’s annual BIG FUNdraisers and super fun community event. We have awesome entertainment and activities planned so far: Music and dancing with The Nahalat Shalom Community Klezmer Band & Rikud dancers, Cheder performances & presentations, ABQ Folkfest Sing Along led by Dan Matthews & Nancy Koenigsberg --AND Food (TBD)—Latkes with apple sauce/sour cream, salad, middle eastern delights, jelly-filled mini-donuts (donut-holes), and MORE!!

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN AND RAISE $$ for Nahalat Shalom!

Please help with: Decorating, set-up/ clean-up, parking, making/ or buying food, serving food, and taking admission/ money at the door.

These things CAN Happen, BUT we need to get it together soon! Organize Silent AUCTION (I think we still have leftover items from past auctions at the shul), booths and sales people for sales / crafts / hanuka items – activities / games for kids…
