Sunday, March 3rd 1:30-3pm (session #2): In this workshop, we will focus on the steps, styles, and embellishments of dances at the heart of the Yiddish dance repertoire. From circle dances like the zhok to square dances like the sher, this essential repertoire is rich and varied. This repertoire workshop is open to new dancers, experienced dancers, and even those that think they aren't dancers.
