Sunday, March 3rd 3:30-5:15pm (session #3) - In this workshop we will learn dances that entered the Yiddish dance repertoire from neighbouring communities and urban contexts. We will learn cosmopolitan social dances like the waltz, social mixers such as korobushka, and fast circle dances like the sirba. This repertoire workshop is open to new dancers, experienced dancers, and even those that think they aren't dancers.
