Please join us as we celebrate Shabbat in the Sephardic tradition. Sofie Shefia will lead us in song and prayer, joined by Hershel Weiss, one of the founding organizers. The evening includes an opportunity form everyone to share from their heart, and Sephardic poetry readings presented by writer, researcher, teacher and translator Héctor Contreras López.

n December, January and February we are reading poems by Colombian Sephardic poet Jorge Isaacs Ferrer. December's poem is El dios del siglo (The God of This Age).

We're meeting in person around a campfire so dress warmly, bring a vegetarian potluck dish to share, and a mug for hot drinks and enjoy the company, the poetry, the singing. Or join us on Zoom!
