KlezmerQuerque is an internationally recognized annual festival of klezmer music and dance that takes place on Presendent’s Day Weekend each year. Participants study with world renowned klezmer scholars, musicians and dancers, attend Dance Parties, Performances and Hands-on Workshops & More!
The 18th Annual KlezmerQuerue “chai-year” took place in 2020. This well-attended festival has almost spurred on a life of its own over the past 18 years due to overwhelming community involvement, volunteering and freilach-makhn (joy-making). Top-notch performances and classes given by our local Jewish/Yiddish-rooted musicians and artists add an extra flair to the exciting programs given by the featured guest artists.
