Bio Hershel Weiss

Hershel helped initiate Nahalat Shalom's annual Sephardic festival in 2010 and has served as Festival Director for many years. He was a founder of Casa Sefarad, which he currently directs, and was recently hired as one of two Community Coordinators for Nahalat Shalom. He is trained as a furniture maker and is responsible for the creation of Nahalat Shalom's portico and entry doors, the aron kodesh and torah table and other wooden fixtures in the sanctuary.
