ZOOM: Haggadah and History with Rabbi Paul Citrin

  • Nahalat Shalom 3606 Rio Grande Boulevard Northwest Albuquerque, NM, 87107 United States (map)

Rabbi Citrin is offering the class “Haggadah and History” just in time for Passover. Note: The first Seder is 3/27. The Haggadah is a composite work assembled over 2,000 years. Its various parts reflect the context of the times in which they were written and included in the Haggadah. To understand the ongoing relevance of our springtime Jewish birth narrative, its power to move Jews in every generation, we will examine and discuss the components and themes of the Haggadah from the Biblical period to modern American Haggadot, both published and unpublished. Join this timely class and share the wisdom of Rabbi Citrin and the lively company of our Zoom classmates.
