Albuquerque Folk Festival First Sunday Sing-Along meets  on the first Sunday of EVERY month from 4-6pm in Beit B’racha.
We go around the circle, each person picking a song from Rise Up Singing or Rise Again Songbook (we have several)

 We sing songs of hope and peace.  And some songs of uncertainty and concern for our friends and fellow human beings. And love songs. And just fun.  You pick the songs. We’ll all sing together.

This ancient custom of gathering to mark the new Jewish month offers a chance for reflection and insight. Join student rabbi Josie to begin the new months of Shevat, Adar, and Nisan in song, conversation, and guided reflection.

Join The Nahalat Shalom Community Klezmer Band & Rikud dancers for the LAST rehearsal of the Fall-Winter season in 2025. We will start up again on January 25, 2026. Sheet music is provided as well as instruction from band director and klezmer musician Beth Cohen. All ages and levels of musicians are welcome, but you must know the basics of your instrument/ voice to be in the band. All levels of dancers are always welcome - no experience necessary.

West African Dance - Beginner Level (in person with live drumming) taught by Becky Gordon

We have a beautiful community of dancers from
all different social circles, who have created a
space of joy, laughter, and mutual support.

So join us for this round! Drop-ins are welcome at any time!

This 8 week session will meet on Monday nights from July 7-August 25 from 6-7:15pm. Requested donation of minimum $8 per class or $60 up front for all eight which pays the drummers. Call, text or email if you have questions. 505-967-8208.

Albuquerque Folk Festival First Sunday Sing-Along

Albuquerque Folk Festival First Sunday Sing-Along meets  on the first Sunday of EVERY month from 4-6pm in Beit B’racha.
We go around the circle, each person picking a song from Rise Up Singing or Rise Again Songbook (we have several)

 We sing songs of hope and peace.  And some songs of uncertainty and concern for our friends and fellow human beings. And love songs. And just fun.  You pick the songs. We’ll all sing together.
