Come! Celebrate Tu b'Shevat at Nahalat Shalom with guest teachers Jules Pashall & Elana-June Margolis who will be leading in collaboration with members of Nahalat Shalom!!!!
Tu b’Shevat (the New Year of the Trees) marks the sap rising from deep within the bark - a sign of life persisting, enduring, longing for itself. The Tu b’Shevat Seder moves us through the Four Kabbalistic Worlds, corresponding to the Four Earth Elements, inviting meditative & embodied interaction with four types of fruit/ flowers, bringing us into intimate encounter with the innate Divinity in ALL things. This deep winter festival is an invitation to reawaken our senses from hibernation & be re-enrolled in the wheel of Life: ever-turning, ever-shifting, ever-transforming.
We come to this seder with hearts broken-open & full of love for life & liberation to practice together in sacred community because, quite simply, we need each other now, perhaps more than ever. Together, we will play, laugh, sing, weep, study, eat, drink, pray & most importantly, CONNECT to one another, to the Source of Blessing & to the interconnected web of ALL Life.
Join us! Our seder will not be complete without YOU!!!!
