Celebrate Shabbat JOY with Cantor Beth Cohen, members of Alavados band Ilene Dunn & Barbara Friedman and KlezmerQuerque Guest Artists for der Freylekher Shabes Service live via Zoom and shared videos! Sing, dance, play and pray to Shabes nigunim and prayers in Yiddish, Hebrew, and Ladino. The service also includes candle-lighting, prayers for healing, Kaddish Yatom, Kiddush and ha-Motzee..

Dances,prayerfulr gestures and movement will be led by Dance Master Steve Weintraub to Shabes nigunim and prayers in Yiddish, Hebrew, Aramaic and Ladino. Guest artist Steve Greenman will sing his own composition of ‘Ahavas Oylom’ and Duke City Hora will be sharing a video.

After the service (7:30 PM’ish) there will be performances of stories, music & dance by our KlezmerQuerque Guest Artists LIVE via ZOOM:  Maggidah Batya Podos (Storyteller); Steve Greenman (violin); Joshua Horowitz (accordion) & Cookie Segelstein (violin) of Veretski Pass; Jewish Dance Master Bruce Bierman. +PLUS:  A music Video from Jordan Wax of Duke City Hora and 2 music Videos form Mayvn Music (Morgan Nilson & Joey Friedman).
