A new 7-week series of shi'urim dealing with the foundational view of Judaism:

The Torah tradition teaches that in order to practice Judaism, it is necessary to actively cultivate a clear understanding of the Oneness of YHVH. Without a contemplative practice of seeking to understand and refine one's understanding of this Oneness, it is impossible to ground Jewish practice in the view taught by Rabbi Israel Ba'al Shem Tov and his students: "there is nothing other than the Holy Blessed One." It is one thing to faithfully affirm the Sh'ma (that YHVH Eloheinu is One) or to assert that Everything is God.

We ask for a donation of $75-$126 (sliding scale) for the seven week series. No one will be turned away from taking the class. Scholarships will be available for anyone who is interested in joining us for this series.
