Nahalat Shalom Community Meeting
Zoom ID: 282 164 4305
No Passcode Required
There are a lot of good reasons to come to Nahalat Shalom for our annual meeting on Sunday from noon to 2:00. The best good reason is to be here with our community! Every time we gather in person it is SO GOOD to be together. Here are some more reasons:
Find (and create!) ways you can make a difference in our congregation. Volunteering is at a low point all over the country, and we need to be the exception to that rule. There are a million ways to help vitalize us, and you will have so much fun and feel so good about yourself as you get involved.
Celebrate our Rabbis. Three of our long-time pillars have all pulled back this year, for various reasons that are very good (and I like to think have nothing to do with how great we are as an organization). Rabbis Brin, Min and Carp have been nothing short of inspirational as they have held us up during the last several years. We will be celebrating their amazing contributions.
See what’s brewing! There are a lot of projects in the works, and many of them need you to help bring them to fruition.
Get a peek at the budget. How did we do? Where did we fall short? What is the plan for next year and beyond?
Vote in the new va’ad (it’s not too late for that to include you!) and give thanks to Erwin as he steps off the va’ad after about a gazillion years of service.
Eat cake! And whatever other snacks magically appear!
See the grounds. We’ll have a tour of our campus available for those of you who are curious and would like to explore our facility.
Traditionally the same 30 people show up year after year. We are so happy to see those 30 people, but we would also be ecstatic if you, dear reader, who hasn’t come very often (or at all) to these meetings, could come and add your fresh ideas to the mix. I very much look forward to being together with all of you.
