A participatory dance workshop taking you on a journey through six distinct branches on the ancient tree of Jewish Dance: Traditional Yemenite, Ethiopian, Sephardic, Hasidic, Klezmer and finally, Rikud HaAm (Israeli folk dance ). Steps, stylings and gestures will be enhanced with Jewish dance myths, folklore, wonder tales, and very rare archival film footage. All welcome. No dance experience needed.
