Parashat MiKetz explores the power of dreams in Judaism, both the lucid dreams we have in our awake state of mind and the ones that come to us at night. This is also the portion where a  great Tikkun-healing occurs with Joseph, his brothers and their father. In our interactive D'var Torah we will engage with the  Tree of Life, and stand inside the Sephirot.

This service consciously explores the connections with our Sephardic Heritage. (Sefarad is the Hebrew word for Spain and Sephardic refers to those Jews who  once lived in Spain and then were expelled, and who carried their language and their traditions with them wherever they went.) 

Our guest speaker will be Spanish attorney Luis Portero de la Torre who helped write the Spanish citizenship law.
