On Saturday, February 18, join us for a CONCERT AND DANCE PARTY featuring our GUEST ARTISTS: JACK "YANKL" FALK, CHRISTINA CROWDER, and BRUCE BIERMAN
The doors will open at 6:30p.m. for the big concert and dance party. At 7:00p.m. local ‘faves’ The Rebbe’s Orkestra, will open the show. At 7:30pm Jack “Yankl” Falk, and Christina Crowder will present a concert which will begin with primarily vocal music accompanied by accordion. These pieces will include Havdallah (end of Shabbat) melodies, and Chassidic melodies including a beautiful Chabad melody of the prayer “Ki Hinei Kahomeyr…” (…who, as the clay in the hand of the potter, when he wishes expands it and when he wishes contracts it…). The performance will build into energetic Moldavian and Carpathian dance melodies featuring the accordion and clarinet. Joining Falk & Crowder will be Charles Casimiro on the double bass, who performs regularly with Crowder on the east coast. At 9:00p.m., following the concert and intermission, the dance party will begin with live music by the guest artists and local klezmer friends with dancing led by Bruce Bierman.
$18 online or $25 at the door ($20 seniors/students). Individual Concert ticket registration will not be taken or held over the phone.
One ticket is included with each "All Events" registration. Individual tickets can only be bought online or at the door.
