Bio Peninnah Schram
Peninnah Schram, Professor Emerita at Yeshiva University, tells Jewish stories of wisdom and wit. Author of 14 books of Jewish folktales, her recent book is Jewish Stories of Love and Marriage: Folktales, Legends & Letters (co-author Sandy Eisenberg Sasso). Recipient: Covenant Award for Outstanding Jewish Educator; NewCAJE’s Kavod Le'Morah Prize for an outstanding educator; National Storytelling Network’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
